The Parador de Limpias is located on the grounds of the Eguilior Palace, which served as the summer residence of the Council of Alfonso XIII. Near the beautiful town of Castro-Urdiales and a short drive from the Cantabrian capital, Santander, the Palace is a large cubic block with four corner towers set within a woodland of various trees (some specimens are declared world heritage), situated in an area of high ecological value. Inside, in a rustic style, there is an imposing wooden staircase and a gastronomic offering based on excellent regional products, both from the sea and the land. Typical dishes such as rice with abacanto peas and beans, a variety of cheeses and sweets such as the famous Unquera Neckties, sobaos pasiegos or pantortillas de Reinosa. Enjoy it to the fullest.
