Waddenweelde and the Pieterburen rescue centre care for sick or injured animals. Every year, around four hundred seals are taken in and, once treated and healed, released back into the Wadden Sea. Here you can observe the animals up close and discover the work of the volunteers. Children can also have fun in the dedicated playground, with air cushions, ball pools and trampolines.
